Construction Inspector – Nassau County (Nights) SRE Engineering, D.P.C. | Nassau County, NY | Contract | $45–$55/hr
SRE Engineering, D.P.C., a certified M/WBE and DBE engineering and construction management firm, is seeking a Construction Inspector for an active Nassau County DPW project involving pavement markings on various County roadways.
Schedule: Nighttime work only Start: Early April 2026
Responsibilities:
- Field inspection of pavement marking installation on County roadways
- Documentation of daily construction activities and progress
- Ensuring contractor compliance with project specifications and safety requirements
Requirements:
- NICET Level II certification or greater (Transportation/Highway Construction preferred)
- Prior experience with roadway or pavement marking inspection
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently
- Must have a car
Compensation: $104,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
